Ransom was sure the collar was just an insult at this point and there was no intention of taking it off. Of course he'd assumed since it negated all his powers, it would negate the effects of heat as well. It didn't. He realized that way too late and the full effects of it were overpowering him, again. He didn't have the staff to not work and he didn't have Kaden to keep him in check. From the last few times he'd gone through it and worked he knew he couldn't work through it and not with a collar on.
Pride wasn't his sin, but it was hard for him to swallow from time to time. His last meeting with Florian hadn't been his proudest and his current state wasn't setting him up for a better interaction. Still there wasn't much of a choice. He needed suppressants, well past keeping ahead of the symptoms. Heading into the castle's doctors office he wasn't sure if he was happy or concerned there wasn't anyone in it.
He closed the door behind him sharply making sure Florian knew someone was there. The dynamic was very different this time around when the doctor came into the room to greet him. Violence and anger wasn't what took Ransom, but there was a lack of control. The thoughts in the black dragons mind this time around were vivid as the imagery in his head. He wasn't a sexless creature despite how he carried himself. Quite the opposite.
"I need..." He started and stopped. The smell of the kresnik was enough to drive him mad. To make him want to clear the desk, throw the other on it, and bury himself inside of him. To imagine what he'd sound like crying Ransom's name over and over as he clung to him. It was enough to give him pause, make him catch his thoughts and try and pull them back. To focus on anything else, anything.
