Have you ever tried to hold someone unwilling down over a stone altar so you can slit their throat and bleed them dry? Because typically people like to have their blood inside of their body, and not in the altar of their captive and killer. Which means they struggle. And all the care in the world isnt going to help you when they struggle.And don’t bother telling me to sedate them. Believe Me, I’ve tried. The altar didn’t like it.
Besides, no self-respecting scientist would wear a red lab coat. That would look horrible.

Blood is full of concentrated magic. Life essence. It holds a tremendous power, if you know how to use it right. Have you seen what blood magic allows Me to do? I can change the universe around me, I don’t have to obey the laws of reality itself anymore!

Red wine, fine dining, silks and suits and silver and gold. Smoke and velvet and dulcet honey words of poison and lies.
White tiles, flourescent lights, hallways stripped to nothingness. Blinding burning searing hot white, plexiglass and crystal and trays of sterling knives.
Dark stone, humming, breathing and whispering in glowing runes. Scabs and scars and stains and scratches and ever ever ever bleeding wounds.

How well do you hold up during a heatwave? I imagine the sun is quite harsh on your pale skin.
“Pale” is an understatement, I have albinism. But yes, the sun is quite devastating for me, and as a larger person the heat affects me even more than most.
Fortunately the cave-base remains pleasantly cool during summers, and laying down on the stone floor is a nice way to siphon off some excess heat. I avoid going outside during the daytime, not only to avoid the heat and the sunburns but because it is bright enough outside to harm my eyes. I already don’t see very well, and I need to protect whatever eyesight I have left.Luckily I have a companion who is seemingly impervious to both heat and light.
What's your opinion on psychology?
Dissecting the mind can be just as fullfilling in the abstract sense as in the physical. I enjoy both.
