GENOS x SHURIKO #002: Experimental Date . Yep! It's for the love of Science. Shuriko wants to know if there's still any humanity in Genos after all that mechanical parts replacing his organic body. So, she suggested casually an experimental date to test that question of hers. She has to put on contact lenses and her hair down (she always tied up her hair during work and at home). She never had a date before but she's been reading romantic novels and movies with Koyuki, so she has an idea of how date works. Genos was just going along with whatever Shuriko was suggesting. But he slowly loosen up at the middle of the date, and starts to smile as she keeps taking the lead. Before the day ended, her prosthetics were malfunctioning (she forgot to look them over before wearing them). Genos suggested on carrying her to their last destination, and all the way home. Seeing as how that also looks like a date routine, she agrees to the gesture and let herself get carried on Genos's back. (She can repair her prosthetics, but it's a hassle to remove her tight leggings). . Well, don't think I can continue more about this date scene. GENOS x SHURIKO: . They both came from the same village, got separated after the attack, believing they're the only one survivors. But when they meet again when Shuriko was going to take Koyuki home from Saitama's apartment, it only took one look before they both recognized each other. They see each other in the Hero Association when he was recommended by that Bearded Worker after Genos asked who she is. That's when they get to reminisce about their past and shared their experiences 4 years after the incident. Shuriko was fascinated about Genos's body modifications and curious of how much human is left in him after all that mechanical parts are surgically embedded to his body. Genos was fascinated of her knowledge on machines, biology and psychology. They don't see each other much due to their separate jobs, but get to hang out when they accidentally bump into each other. Genos was drawn to her friendly and lively prowess. Shuriko, however, is a mystery when it comes to opening up about who she likes. But she has the determination to make Genos feel human again despite his current cyborg body. .
