We’ve been dealing with a stalker, who goes by @/burning-spice-cookie on this app. He is also my ex.

Cyberstalking is defined as using tech to track and/or harass someone, such as contacting them to try and get their attention despite their explicit requests against it. This has been what has been happening for the past almost half year, and has been causing us a great deal of distress.

I’ve decided to release this information publicly as I’ve realised he cannot do much more other than harass us more, if he has hopefully forgotten our IRL name. Even so, I hope he and anyone reading this reacts to this situation maturely. I do not condone harassment towards him, and I am very much against it. He is a MINOR who needs mental help. Do not go after him. Just block him.

This situation has escalated being just something to be kept in private and discussed in DM’s, as for one, I do not want to contact him, nor want any contact from him. Second, I and another member of the system has made it clear to him that he needs to stop contacting us, and he has violated this boundary time and time again. Third, we’ve already told him clearly about everything he’s done that has hurt us. And finally, he’s also mocked us twice or more on twitter already (in replies). If this escalates, that is him being irresponsible. My friends and mutuals deserve to know what has been happening. And just because he wants me to not ‘put dirt’ on him, and stay silent, doesn’t mean I should.

If he does end up responding to any of this, I likely won’t respond myself unless necessary, or someone else will front. Again, do not harass him. Do not attack him. That is very immature, and you will be blocked if I find you doing this to him.
