Requirements for Travelling North
Full details below are as of September 12, 2020 (date we travelled) and base on La Union requirements check point area.
We passed by SCTEX and TPLEX around 3am in the morning.
The first check point is at TPLEX:
Basically just checking the passengers inside the car and if you have documents after that, you are allowed to pass already. (in short - hindi masyado mahigpit)
Next check point is at the last TPLEX Exit, Rosario Exit.
Here, we need to go down to submit documents, be interviewed and fill up their forms. After checking our documents, we were not allowed to pass. We lack the important documents which is the Medical Certificate and PNP.
We asked for help if they can assist us with our parents Food Supplies since they really need this, but they said they couldn't help us.
We understand and so, we just took the photos of the requirements and decided to leave.
But while driving back TPLEX, naisip namin, “paano na yung pagkain at gamit nila Mommy?” Kelangan nila makuha, esp that our Dad is sick.
So we thought of Exiting at Pozzorubio, so that we can just drop off our Boxes at the Bus Terminal.
Unfortunately, there was still a check point before the terminal.
But - the important thing is, the people at the checkpoint area helped us bring our parents Food Supply to them. We called our parents that the LGU personnel will meet them halfway so that they can pick up the Supplies faster.
And we are just so thankful to these helpful people from Pozzorubio.
Saludo kami sa tapat na serbisyo at mabuting puso nyo!
As for us, lessosn learned.
But if you really need to go here, make sure you have the 2 most important documents:
1. Medical certificate (should be issued within 3 days from the Date of planned Travel)
