Everywhere you go, there's either people giving each other candies, eating chocolates, and excitement in the air. Megan was handing out chocolates to friends and family all day for Day of Devotion. And upon seeing Morgan, there's a smile on Megan's face as she approaches her. "Hello, Morgan! Happy Day of Devotion!" Right away, she takes out a wrapped box from her basket, and gives Morgan a box of handmade chocolates. "Here you go. This one is yours." Hopefully she likes chocolate!
“A-aha…Princess Megan…you’ve mispronounced my name. It’s ‘Meia’. Not Morgan…I don’t even know a Morgan…” She knew she was still new to everything here. But as Prince Leon’s prized tactician, and trying not to be outed for her true identity…it was imperative that no one ever hear that name. Only three other people knew of it, and by no means did any of them want their true names outed. Morgan didn’t want her true name outed either.
It’s with a great deal of effort that she does her best to hide her panic. That she does her best to not show how bothered she is by everything just said to her just because of that one mistake. What if it wasn’t a mistake? What if Megan really did know her true name? Would she out her to Leon? Would she be sent to the gallows for lying to royalty with a false identity?
No…no.
She’s been careful. Careful enough to know that she hasn’t slipped up. But those other three…two dolts and a loudmouth. There was no telling what they said.
Shakily taking the box of chocolates, she does her best to smile. “T-thanks so much…I’ll be sure to uh…eat these before they melt! Happy Day of Devotion!”
