alright i need to say this.

Using the excuse of dod being a joke game for bad balancing or for the community to stop taking it seriously does not work anymore.

The amount of polish and care given to the game has completly disregarded its status as a "joke" a while ago. You cannot have a game like that and STILL say its just a joke.

Dye of deaf is a joke game, live of life is a joke game, they're unpolished and inherently unserious bc thats part of the joke. Die of death has composers and builders and a team, it has actual lore. That is not a joke anymore.

It started as a joke. It was very obvious it was a joke. In april.

Tl;dr saucefy cannot have his cake and eat it too. Dod stopped being a joke game four updates ago. Stop saying it's still a joke and treat it like the actual game it has become.

ok my hottake is

killdroid shouldnt be depicted as just some rampant killing machine. like, yes hes running on faulty code and whatnot, but no one ever considers what else he could do outside of his usual routine manslaughter. maybe somewhere theres a sequence or two for some sort of other activity even if the faults override the rest.

and while hes really petty, no one (that ive at least seen) has shown kd as even sometimes polite. again it might be the code override, but it just irks me when they say he cant show otherwise. its like they completely disregard his original intent, and unless this is a really odd case of faulty code nothing would be truly overwritten, but lower priority

while i do get this, i do also understand people only portraying him as a killing machine with no emotions. While he was designed to guard, he was probably also programmed to not get very attached to civilians or show any empathy or mercy to those he has to kill. Plus, he is a robot and im not sure if you can really program feelings into a robot anyway.

Gotta admit here, I do wanna see more interpretations of Artful that isn’t all sad and nice. I would love to see more of a sour and bitter Artful behind the curtains and one who is a coward for not take responsibility for what he has done. One that is quite a handful to deal with, especially when faced with negative emotions. I would love to see more people explore the flaws that Artful has or potentially have, such as going back and forth between trying to justify his actions to regretting them. I feel like not a lot of people look into his mindset of why he didn’t turn himself in as he would probably get a life in prison or a death sentence depending on Robloxia’s laws in the Dod universe, yet at the same time, he’s also trying to avoid responsibility for his actions through avoiding the authorities and escaping into the forest.

I just like when people look into characters more! : D
