How many reincarnations does it take for an idea to reach its current state? It’s apex of realization..? And if life itself is an idea, perhaps it's a curious one, full of cycles and evolutions of its own, ever-changing, ebbing, flowing.... Perhaps the conclusion to be made is, just as life itself breathes and pulsates, ideas too are living entities on a journey of their own..vaguely visible to our lucid human perception.
There is one that’s been in the brain oven for some time now..under the topic “redesigning your life.” And yes, “Ride This Way” was the beginning of this journey. It was a trial run, a taste of minimalist living, continuous adventure and ultimate freedom... But something was missing.. Purpose.. Everything to this point now served as a great teacher, but it was only the beginning of my journey to ride the wave of life on my terms, self-sufficiently, with inspiration and curiosity...untethered, maybe with more risk than something more conventional... But I can’t do conventional. I only get this one life at the moment and I have to go all in..Risk is a seductive energy that seems to drive me. The uncertainty of tomorrow brings a bit of excitement. Working for a pension or subscribing to a lease just doesn’t fall under the formula of my life. And yes, I open myself up to confrontation with authorities..stereotypes and various opinions..comparing my life to that of a homeless bum, a vegabonding hobo.. If labeling, then I prefer “hunter gatherer” and “nomad.” but these are outdated terms that have lost their meaning, drowned by more modern identities like “homeowner,” “middle class citizen,” “consumer” and the rest of that bullshit.
I will instead pluck fruit off trees, barter and trade services and goods, discover other tribes of similar mind frame and establish a culture that is more harmonious with a simpler way of life..more natural and free of anxiety.
So my traveling continues.. but a little differently. Kokopello’s journey pushes forward, but a little differently... In a Dodge ‘77 Beaver Recreational Vehicle..
