“Professor.“ the young woman holds her book tightly to her chest as she enters the room, green eyes, those she believe belong to one father but belong to another whose existence she is unaware of, glance at the man. Professor Snape always gave Delphini the shivers, mostly because he was an imposing man, with so much history, and while she enjoys the classes, she still approaches him with distance. She knows from her aunt, how he had been once a Death Eater, just like her parents, but he had deserted the cause. Her parents, whoever, did not. “Professor Longbottom said you were looking for me? Is this about my test? Because I’m sure it was perfect, sir.” She fears anything less than perfection; compensating for the darkness she has inside, Delphi wishes to be perfect in every aspect of her life.

          she doesn’t like this.  not one bit.  snape’s position in the order, more specifically the mission dumbledore has him set on ?  it upsets her greatly, to know what he’s doing and who he’s dealing with.  she doesn’t know specifics, no one does because they’ve done very well to keep that under wraps.  but she knows he’s working closely with  you-know-who.  all the signs were there, and she hated the idea of severus being in such danger for the sake of inside information.

          so what better way to talk to him about it during their evening tea ?  the hospital wing was, for the moment, empty.  she was free to do as she pleased, and she usually chose to spend that time either with minerva or severus, seeing as her own children would rather be  away  from her.

          ❛ i think what you’re doing needs to stop, severus.  whatever mission albus has you on...  is it really worth it ?  i fear for your safety.  i don’t want anything happening to you. ❜

oh??? what's this???? is that severus going in for a hug???? damn right it is. enjoy it while it lasts.... maybe check his temperature too

          she’s not used to this !  it’s always molly who initiates any type of affection to most people aside her husband.  molly goes in for the hugs, pulls her children towards her despite the groans of  mum knock it off !  the same applies for severus, usually giving him a hug just to get the flustered, annoyed reaction.  so this caught her off guard and cheeks turn a rosy color.  she’s flattered !  ❛ what’s this for ? ❜  she has to ask, as it is so unlike the taller professor.  but that doesn’t stop her arms from circling his waist and hugging him back  ( probably too tight for comfort as she often did ).
