         She isn’t yet sure what to MAKE of their companion.  This woman is small and timid and seems kind --- but she is yet part of the church.  Not all members are evil, she knows, of course.  It is an easier thought in theory than in practice, however.  ( never thought she’d be traveling with a sister, that’s for certain. )

                      Her hesitance does nothing to soften her kindness, however.  Lise’s eyes are washed out like the tide, and the magician places a hand tentatively upon her shoulder.  “Are you alright?”

faye punched her the first time they met, and doesn’t feel bad about it in any meaningful sense of the word.  she wouldn’t do it again, especially after they’re friends, but her reasoning feels valid.  

hawke and the warden have much in common, despite their vastly different outward personalities, something hawke notices.  thus, by the time they’re friends, hawke keeps a close eye on her just in case faye’s desire to die and self - sabotage also reflects in her.  she wants to protect her friend.

if faye is left in the fade, her final words to the inquisitor would be “tell varric goodbye for me.  and tell inara not to be sorry.”

would be fascinated by avernus’s potion, and want to experiment with how her magic interacted with tainted blood, let alone ALTERED tainted blood, if she ever learned about it.
