There’s been debate whether or not the Dofus Manga still remains part of canon in the Wakfu Animated Universe, despite some retcons and the evolution of the Gods, Classes, and overall Lore. In my opinion the Dofus Manga is still partially canon.

A good example of this is that Goultard’s story remains virtually the same with a few minor alterations (Like his design and his number of wives decreasing for the sake of censorship). The inclusion of Dark Vlad in season 3 is another exemple, as it confirms Goultard did create alternate egos in the Animated Universe, just as he’d done in the Manga Universe, so part of the Dofus Manga canon remains true to an extent. This particular scene in “The Council of Twelve” (Season 2) also hints at events from the Dofus Manga that people who haven’t read the series probably don’t know about because, while there’s been no previous mention in the animated series of a dragon attacking Bonta, we do know from the  manga a certain young dragon who did in fact lose control of his emotions and who did attack one of the biggest cities in the World of Twelve.

Napping in the Fields

Arty used to shepard a herd of Gobballs, so I’ve been having thoughts of a massive godzilla sized dragon just snoozing out in the fields with a herd of fluff-balls happily grazing nearby, or even clambering over his sleeping form. The sight of a dragon would certainly keep most predators away, and considering Arty is a heavy-sleeper I can only imagine he’d not be too bothered if his herd ran up and down his scaly hide.
