Right?? I can’t help it. I see a golden retriever puppy (or a grown one acting a fool) and it’s Raleigh. More rarely, I see a ginger retriever and it’s Chuck.

It’s just a thing now. It went out of control, and now it has its own life.

Everything is Pacific Rim.

Chuck thought it was a HILARIOUS idea and did it without him knowing. He DID wonder why the big red dork was “measuring” his snout and the exact distance between his precious doggy eyes, but he just thought it was Chuck still being weird about the puppy growing up.

But no. Halloween costume.

Raleigh was not impressed. ESPECIALLY when it ended up on the revived WeRateDogs Twitter feed. Admittedly, that wasn’t anyone at the shatterdome’s fault -- Tendo would’ve shut it down, like he’s shut down so much attempted exposure of Chuck’s dual nature over the years -- but still. Not impressed.

Especially when Chuck, the bastard, made it and the rating the lockscreen on his brand new shiny phone.

My friend just got a ginger golden. The first thing that came to my mind when I saw her photos was your “Old Dog, New tricks” series.

Aw!! I’m so glad to hear that! I can’t see retrievers without thinking of them, either!
