I never understood why there were so many communities online for food, animals, toy collections, etc. Until I received an angelic puppy from the heavens! It all made sense after I met Judi, my 3 year old Pom/Spitz mix. Her and my wife are the apples of my eyes. My wife has now been a part of a German Spitz Group on facebook for several years. A place where you can share pictures worth one thousand words with a bunch of other people with furry little children. What amazes me is how many of these groups exist on facebook alone for any specific breed. Even more broadly for Dogs or Cats or Horses… you name the animal(s) and there are communities filled with wonderful people sharing stories. And Stories are where it’s at! It’s what makes the world go round for human society and certainly destroys walls/barriers between racial/gender/religious/philosophical differences. What I see in these humble little communities is a world that can get along great, even if it’s from just one shared passion for an idea, a subject, or hobby. Companies like Community Associations Institute are just one example of hope in a world (country) that seems like it just can’t get along. Though the mass media has pushed away more and more from unbiased news to complete indoctrination, there is hope in the building up of multi-ethnic, multi-religious communities filled with compassion like we see on social media. We all do have common ground, it’s this… a beating heart, a soul filled with emotions, a brain filled with personality, a body, and though all of these things can/will malfunction at some point or another in this broken world… we are one. Created in the image of a God that loves us so much he made the choice to create a universe in which we can all share in those beautiful moments called life, and to strive for peace and understanding and most of all LOVE. That’s my two cents! Happy Thursday everyone! (at Chicago metropolitan area) Original Instagram Post: https://www.instagram.com/p/BpFoDiWlpu3/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1ac70trvqmz04
