Would anyone whose dogs comfortably wear a muzzle be willing to give me some pointers on muzzle training?

Scully needs to learn to wear one on walks because the trash-eating is simply out of control, but I keep putting off starting the training because I'm terrified of messing it up and/or going too fast and terrifying her.

I'll be doing tons of research too, but I'd still really appreciate it if anyone could chime in with their personal muzzle-training experience!

Hey dogblr people out there, muzzle question!

My lab loves to go out in the woods to run but has a SUPER sensitive stomach and inevitably will eat something that causes him to be sick all over the house for the next three days. I want to get him a muzzle so he can run around and be a happy dog without risking another pukefest, but I have no idea where to start as far as the best muzzles to use or how to size him. Any tips or pointers?

On Tuesday I have to go to an internal training for puppy preschool in a veterinary chain company i work for.

I NEED YOUR HELP IF YOU UNDERSTAND BIG COMPANIES AND MAKING CHANGES

Here goes:

Should i publicly announce in a conference about puppy training in a big company that the alpha pack theory and dominance is a fucking lie and I'm NOT using it in their program. Back my ass and explain vet behaviorists use up to date scientifically based methods and potentially still be shut down

OR

Should i just speak to the head of the puppy school program personally afterwards and hope changes are made a nd still be shut down?

I need some advice!!!

the family dog has what I assume are really severe allergies, he's so itchy he chews and licks his skin raw and we have to give him allergy shots every week (and i assume my mom has been keeping up with those shots) and his skin looks so awful and i have no idea what makes him so itchy and my mom doesn't want to spend the money to take him to the skin vet again

does anyone have any advice or information to give to my mom to convince her of lifestyle changes our dog needs???

I need help y'all

Was cutting Kira's nails and got the quick on one of them, rear right. She didn't even react and doesn't seem to be in pain at all, so that's good, but it sure was bleeding a lot. She's not trying to lick it or anything and it's already stopped bleeding, but do I need to bandage it? I'm worried that if I do, she'd be more likely to be annoyed and rip at the bandage than if I left it. But I also don't want it to get infected, obviously. Ahhhhh what do pls assist

So my stepmom is getting a puppy in late april and she wants to actually train it and has started getting books regarding dog training. I’m home so I was flipping through one of the books which “good owners, great dogs” and it has a lot of dominance theory in it which ive been trying to move her away from the dominance talk. so i wanna order/recommend books that have way more training theory in them. I just ordered her “dont shoot the dog”

tldr: what do you guys recommend for puppy training books for someone who doesnt know much training theory?

Okay, question about nail trimming. Kira's quick is growing in a really inconvenient place, it almost touches the bottom of every nail. If I dremel or cut to the cyan line, at the front of the nail, will the quick start to recede enough to make it so I'm able to trim the length? She's really squirmy about me getting near her nails anyway and I really don't want to hurt her and set her back.

What dog training YouTube channels do yall like? I can read books all I want but I’m a visual learner, I like to see training in action! Any internet trainers out there that are decent?
