To put things bluntly, Nero was still rather bored. He’d taken to tinkering with literally any electronic device or piece of machinery he could get his hands on to kill the time. Today, he’d offered his services to a desperate businessman who was desperate to have the light restored in the card room (Nero knew not what games were played in there, nor did he honestly care at the moment) before he opened tonight. Evidently, the company he originally trusted to do the job had cancelled last minute, and he’d caught Nero tinkering with a busted streetlight out of sheer boredom. The deal was made, and thus was Nero now on his back, working to repair one of the lights.
“Really, someone has it out for this poor man... all of these lights had wires cut and casings bent... among other savage deeds... oh well, it gives me something to do, I suppose.” He mused quietly (a rarity for Nero-to be quiet, that is) as he worked. He, of course, succeeded in eventually managing to repair the broken light, and beamed when it came to life. Satisfied, he rolled off his back, and swiftly scaled down the ladder he’d been given to assist in the task.
However, upon stepping foot on the floor, he noticed that he wasn’t alone. He looked up, and blinked.
Wait, was that....
Yes, he knew that Au Ra man. One of the many Warriors of Light he’d dealt with over time. Dogen, if Nero’s memory served? It always did, so yes, that must be his name. Nero sighed in annoyance. For once in his life, he decided he did not want to be the center of attention-he had very good, paying work to do. He tried to ignore the imposing man, and resumed his work.
