5년 전 들른 담양 소쇄원瀟灑園에서. 사람을 보고 놀라지도 피하지도 않되 반기거나 애원하지도 않았다. 마치 산신 같던 하얀 개. 너를 보면서 '모노노케 히메'의 '모로'를 떠올리지 않을 수 없었다. 신령스럽던 저 당당한 개는 여전히 살아 있을까? 기약할 수 없는 어떤 날 다시 그곳에 들렀을 때, 너를 고스란히 만나고 싶구나. 저 자연 속으로 사라지고픈 오늘. I stopped by this garden, five years ago. A white dog in Soswaewon Garden, Dam-yang, South Korea. Even when she saw persons, she was not surprised at and did not avoid them. But neither did she welcome or beg. She is like a white guardian spirit of mountain. I could not help but think of 'Moro' of 'Mononoke Hime' while looking at her. Is the numinous, dignified dog still alive? I want to meet you who left untouched again when I come back there someday.
