Thanks to @aspiredesignandhome and @tategunnerson for taking time to share my intimate space with my American Bulldog/intern Chap. Interestingly there’s a POSTSCRIPT to this story. After all the work I’ve done to get the body and mind in shape - the heart had different plans and on 6/1/2021 I underwent quadruple bypass surgery. I am doing freaking awesome - I’m large part due to a surgeon and SICU nurses who practically work miracles. Family and friends who understand gibberish, a team that I haven’t yet figured out how we fell into place together and clients who have fed the troops, aided with chauffeuring and danced around a few deadlines. That’s the environment I live in and have worked for. So, a couple weeks of slow walks with the dog. But a life of robust and vibrant relationships ahead.
