Real Thing I did/said today:

Walking down the street with my dog. Dog behind the fence that we pass starts barking and whimpering. So naturally, the dog that lives on the other side of the street starts barking from the window. So of course the two noisy frenchies that live on the next street over start barking. So obviously my dog has to start now too.

Dogs: *whine* bork bork aroo roo roo roo roo *wheeeimper* grrrrrooooof

Me, in a brooklyn accent, but much more sleepy and quiet than your average Brooklyner: All ya'll shut up, I'm walkin' ere!

Dogs: *chuff* silence

Moral of the story, saying "I'm walkin 'ere" like you are the most exhausted Brooklyner ever will apparently make dogs listen to you.

@imboredandneedalife Hey like a month ago I discovered this and wanted to show it to you! I don't know if you have seen it before.. I saw a video of a dog named Stella that learned to talk through buttons because her owner is a speech pathologist or something like that, she did/invented something (it was in 2019) that hadn't been done before and then other dogs started talking through that too like this instagram profile "whataboutbunny".

And the thoughts and sentences dogs can express through those buttons blew me away ! And I was obsessed with it for 2 weeks lol 🤯 they say more complex thoughts than just "water" or "outside" ..in one video seems like the dog Bunny asks about dreams for example! She says "night. Talk. Sleep" So I thought this was really cool 😁
