I have never been a super fan of fireworks. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy watching the big fireworks shows but the small, personal ones are just not for me. At the same time I don't begrudge anyone else if they do enjoy them. With the 4th of July being on Wednesday this year, fireworks have been going off each night since last Saturday. I believe we can expect 6 more days of fireworks this year (Tues thru Sun). As a fur-parent with noise sensitive dogs, this time of year can be a struggle. Huck is affected the most. Thundershirts, lavender calming spray, music playing and very early last bathroom break at 9 PM is our routine. I do not expect the world to share in my personal choice or cater to my noise sensitive dogs. All I can hope for is that we get back to "normal" as quickly as possible.
