Do you think the Eridians even knew the light spectrum existed before Grace
Like, Erid is pitch dark because its atmosphere is too dense to allow light through to the surface, or any other type of radiation for that matter (thus why they didn't know to shield against ionizing radiation on the Blip-A). Nothing on the planet even evolved to have eyes as far as we know.
I'm just imagining it going like
Rocky, brandishing his texture "camera": I invented this to hear the wavelengths of electromagnetic energy Friend Grace can hear with the sensory orbs in his upper carapace
Eridian scientists: ...the WHAT Savior Grace can hear with WHAT
Rocky: also we need to invent something that emits electromagnetic energy of certain wavelengths or he won't be able to navigate his biodome. His "hearing" isn't the same as our hearing, he has several extra senses.
Eridian Scientists: ...tell us EVERYTHING
Now that the demo of Hearts Before The Arrow is starting to wrap up (the introductory chapter and episode one of Telemachus' route, with episode one of Antinous' route to be added once it's been completed), I'm curious - which routes are people most looking forward to based solely on @messymoonmad 's work?

Once the demo is out and people have gotten more familiar with the characters as they've been written, I'll remake the poll and see what changes
I have big emotions about Eva Stratt
She seems like she doesn't care on the surface. She'll sacrifice anything she has to. She'll send Grace to his death against his will, she'll pave over the Sahara desert, she'll nuke Antarctica. She'll sacrifice anything.
She'll sacrifice herself. Her friendships. Her future. Her heart. She knows she's not getting out of this, because the world is fragile, and they need someone to blame so they don't start blaming each other. They won't even share resources when the world is ending - once the ship has gone, the powers of the world will start assigning blame. And Stratt will take it.
She doesn't have to. The U.N. gave her blanket power to do anything she had to do. The president gave her a pre-emptive pardon for anything she did on U.S. soil. She could argue, she could fight the blame - they gave her permission. But she won't. When the Hail Mary launches, all that power ends. And they need someone to take the fall for the choices they gave her the power to make for the greater good.
And she'll take it.
Because Eva Stratt loves humanity more than anyone in the world. More than Grace, more than any one individual. More than herself. She's a woman who cares so much that she can't allow herself to care about anyone, because when it comes down to it, she knows she's going to choose the world over herself, and it will only hurt more when that choice has to be made.
Ryland Grace is too easy to care about.
Okay, well... I have a quick question (just out of curiosity), which route do you think will be the most fun or interesting in the game? (. ❛ ᴗ ❛.) (I hope I'm not bothering you)
Not bothering me at all, all these questions might help me regain some brainpower for writing the game.
Every route has aspects I'm super excited for, and every one will have themes that will appeal to different people. Personally, I'm most excited to write Polybus' route, and Eurymachus' will certainly be interesting, but I'm a bit biased because I just really enjoy writing them.
Headcanoning that Ryland Grace is a perfectly competent singer, despite the karaoke scene, for two reasons
1) He picked up Eridian very well, so he has an excellent sense of pitch
2) No one who wears a Cats shirt unironically isn't a theater kid

Some notes:
He wears five earrings, one for each sibling (two on one side for Hades and Poseidon, three on the other for Hera, Hestia, and Demeter)
The sash across his chest displays whichever of his epithets he feels are most fitting of him at the moment (often the ones he most feels he's earned, rather than those given by virtue of being the godking in general)
The chains on his hands are his binds to his followers (as noted previously, Chronos cursed his children to be bound to humanity). Should he harm a loyal follower who has not acted against his domains, they will crush his hands.
His horns generate his lightning, which is channeled through his bolt (taking the form of a spear or scepter). His bolt is often kept in a smaller form as a hairpin; if he is startled or experiencing something intense (emotionally or physically), it may discharge through his fur instead, resulting in fluffy Zeus.
