#doily wip

I’m going to have to invest in more T-pins as I ran out blocking this 15”er. I honestly enjoy blocking doilies as they go from a scrungly little thing to beautiful, wide open lacework as if by magic.

A different large sized doily wip. This one I made a tiny error on a later round but chose not to rip back because I could see that I could mock add back the missing double crochet once finished. The last photo shows the mock double crochet placed back into the pattern (the needle is through the stitch) & you can’t tell it wasn’t there originally.

Didn’t get as many WIP pics of these doilies as I really had to concentrate on the pattern stitches. Despite being difficult, I’m pleased with how they turned out & they’ll look even better when blocked.
