I believe I'm a diplomat by nature. I help find the middle ground, I crack a joke and use humour(not humor) to help resolve potentially vicious situations quickly; it gets things in perspective & helps everyone to see that things aren't as bad as they seem. Yet someone said to me that a diplomat is one who can cut his neighbor's throat without having his neighbor notice it. Lacking a response, I blatantly replied to him "...nonetheless,we (diplomats) always remember a woman's birthday but never remember her age," whatever that was supposed to mean,I don't know,haha; after all one Ted Heath once said diplomats think twice before they say nothing! So yes, we are not perfect, I'm not perfect,no one is perfect,& if they think they are,they're simply stupid or ignorant,and I don't know which one is worse! I was honoured by a lunch invitation from the Norwegian Ambassador to Kenya, Ambassador Victor Conrad, at his residence; he is such an inspiration (having been a taxi driver before).
