Plus you interacted with the ‘popular’ blogs and I found you when I was like brand new to the Pokemon Fandom in general, so like- you were, and still are, top tier quality. Now: I still love love your writing! I love writing stuff with you just because it flows well, the development we can kick in, your willingness to write and attention to accuracy, timelines and characterization, and I love your characters and how you play them out too. Less intimidating now, but for obvIOUS reasons. We can just meme and gush at eachother. Vent and be there for one another nd all that jazzy shennanigans. I feel comfortable coming into your IMs jsut to chat and I can truthfully only say that for maybe a few people. I honestly still can’t believe we’ve gotten this close and that I actually got to talk to you. XD It was total coincidence when I was added to the discords and you were there as well- which made me 10000% more intimidated and nervous, but when I said I had White and Rosa you jumped right in and we blasted off from there. I value the friendship we have and everything we’ve had a lot and I’m glad I still get the chance to talk and write with you! Man, Ruso, honestly I’m glad I get to RP with you. You’re a damn good friend and RP partner, and really helped fill in that need for me to have a Bunhead for my Pineapple Hair. Cause seriously I was missing that when I moved onto indie. These days we just also click so well and it’s just so darn fun for us to RP together and also just chat. Plus I can say that you’re a fantastic writer who loves to write so much that you always seem to tend to write on the longer side, which isn’t bad at all. Like seriously for people who worry about super long responses? Just know that you’ll get used to it pretty quickly and suddenly getting 5+ paragraphs in response isn’t as intimidating.

Still you’re a damn lovely meme who is fun to RP with and enjoyable to read so if you aren’t following my girl Ruso then what the heck are you doing?

Ever since that fight, Jacob had decided to avoid her. It was regret that plagued his mind, but it was also that regret that motivated him to learn about her more, to see her more than just a colleague. It started out with a question: why? Why did she act the way she did? Why was it him that she acted that way compared to everyone else? He simultaneously enjoyed and disliked her presence around him, and as such it only added more layers of confusion to everything.

Yet one of the things he had been trained to do was to investigate. If there was something wrong, there was a reason why. So he did something he normally didn’t do: search into a colleague’s past, in the hopes that at least something will alleviate the situation he found himself in, for both their sake.

What he found at first was vauge, but enough to get started. Orre, a rough life, and some connection to Cipher, and Interpol. That last point was his next lead, bringing him to a bratty so-called rival who Jacob could not deny had talent. From there, he had found the information that he was looking for, and learned a lot about her past. Maybe a bit too much, not that he cared. Everyone has their past, and many times it isn’t a good one. The law is the law, but things in the past should be left in the past, only to be learned from when needed from the present. That’s how he learned it, and that’s how his mother said things should be, how his people should treat life. That was not always the case for his brethren, but to Jacob that was the case for him.

Finally seeing her in the halls of Interpol, Jacob called her name in what felt like the first time in a long time.

“Tsubaki...”

Trouble in the Desert: Jacob and Tsubaki

To him, she was annoying and arrogant, always screwing with him just to get some kick out of him. Still, he worked with her in the past, and she was damn good. A specialist, someone who’s even saved his ass a few times out in the field. Still, he tried to distance himself from her in the past, mostly because she would bother him while he was training with his pokemon.

Now, Jacob was standing in front of the door to her apartment, somewhat ashamed that he’d have to come to her for help. There weren’t many options, however. Nate? That kid wasn’t strong enough, and probably would involve Interpol in this mess, the opposite of what Jacob wanted right now. Lance? They knew each other in passing, rarely worked together, but Jacob wasn’t just about to go to the man he desperately wishes to best in battle for help, even if he would be useful. Like it or not, the man still had a lot of pride, and asking for help meant that he had to sacrifice some because he wasn’t able to do it alone.

That’s what bothered him. He couldn’t do it alone, and he didn’t want to involve the Law this time. His tribe maintained their sovereignty, and it wasn’t worth it for him to bring in the World Government. He already knew that bringing in a single outsider would upset at least some of his elders, father included. Thankfully he knew he was never going to become the tribe leader.

Two loud knocks on the door was all he could do, was probably enough to get her attention. He averted his gaze from the door however, still standing tall and fierce; he already knew she was going to tease him about this.

"Woah...” Soleil stood right beside the strange lady as she saw someone had collapsed onto the floor. Did they get in a punching war with someone? Or did they happen to get smacked in the face by a Conkeldurr.

“Did you manage to see what happened here, by any chance? I usually don’t come around Castelia City’s streets because I bounce around everywhere, but just... wow, someone really did a number on them.” Silence for a few moments. “...Impressive.”

“I... I guess.” The spot wasn’t really big for two people plus a flygon, but he wasn’t about to tell either girl to take a hike. So instead, Karyu moved over so Tsubaki had a place to set her things and lay down comfortably. “It aint much but, when you’re on the road as long you don’t tend to carry anything bu the bare basics.”

😈 Jump out of the shadows to scare/startle my muse

“Is it just me Ryu, or are we being followed?” Karyu looks behind him, his flygon doing the same as they begin to walk through the rocky terrain. It was weird, they were out in the open but... he still couldn’t shake the feeling. It bothered him, like he was being hunted.

Just as they start to round the corner, a red headed woman appears in front of them from up on the cliff. The dragon tamer let’s out a screech. Hopefully she won’t notice...much.
