Doki Doki Precure Acting AU Part 1

I’m bored so I wanted to do this. This is an au where the characters play their roles in Precure and their personalities may differ slightly.

Mana: Mana is a bright child actor who joined the industry a few years back. Playing Mana in Doki Doki is her first main role as she mainly appeared as a guest in shows or background characters but her personality made her perfect for the role.

She’s well liked on set and brings a comforting atmosphere to a long day at work but can be a little tiring especially when she’s a little careless with her role. Unlike the hard working Cure Heart, Mana can be a little forgetful and careless and often forgets to practice her lines in her free time. Luckily her costars are willing to help.

News/Rumors: Not much on her aside from rumors that she was a nepotism hire because her mother is a director.

Rikka: Unlike her character who often fades into the background as Mana’s best friend and the groups straight man, Rikka is the most popular name of the main cast. She’s been an actor since she was five and has starred in her own TV show about a young prodigy detective and played major roles in action, mystery and horror movies. She originally auditioned for the role of Cure Sword but was given Cure Diamond instead due to her natural cool headed nature.

Being the most experienced, Rikka hardly has trouble working off other characters. Her main issue is that she comes off as standoffish and no nonsense and is the most likely to get irritated with Mana’s carelessness. It took a while for her to warm up to the others but she now plays the role of their bodyguard when it comes to paparazzi or interviewers, having been subjected to that herself.

News/Rumors:

It was rumored that Rikka tried to sabotage Makoto as revenge for taking the role of Cure Sword (proven false)

Rikka is often disliked by some of the public due to being recorded acting harsh to paparazzi

Claims she bullies others on set.

She’s called the “Diamond of the stage” ever since she was little

The members she’s seen interacting most with are Alice, playing Cure Rosetta and Regina, playing King Mercenares daughter.

Alice: Alice is very passionate about her role. While having appeared in movies, Alice is more notably a fashion model and this is her first time in a leading role, like Mana. The moment she got the role of Cure Rosetta she practically shouted it from the rooftops. Many found it hard to believe someone so fiery could play the polite young maiden but that was just a show of her acting abilities.

Alice gets along well with everyone on set and her energy is often contagious. She motivates the others after long sessions and always keeps the group going even if they want to collapse. She’s made sure to build a close relationship with the man playing her butler, Sebastian and the two often play the role as butler and heiress even off camera to “make it more realistic.”

News/Rumors:

Alice is very friendly to photographers but is often dragged away by Rikka.

Many controversies revolving around her physical appearance due to her job as a model

Passed out on set on numerous moccasins due to exhaustion, dehydration or hunger and is often tended to by the adults and Mana

Makoto: Makoto is a rising star of an actress and as green as the grass. She was casted as Cure Sword for her singing voice and has already boomed in popularity from her characters first song.

Makoto is shy and seems to try and fade into the crowd. She struggles to play the serious and lone wolf Cure Sword at first and even separated herself from the group to “get into her role” despite also wanting to make friends with the others. Mana and Alice are always trying to reach out to her when they see her alone and she enjoys looking over her script with Aguri. Rikka intimates her; both because she got the role Rikka wanted and due to her status. (She thinks Rikka hates her.)

Rumors/News:

Mentioned previously, it was rumored that Rikka was bullying her out of jealousy. (Makoto always quells these rumors)

Makoto often adds a comical spin to her character to calm herself and was saddened to discover many felt like Cure Swords character was butchered after she joined the group

Cure Sword joined the group earlier then anticipated and Makoto had a whole breakout because of the last minute change

Aguri: Aguri is a fairly private figure. She doesn’t make appearances in public often and tends to not talk to anyone outside of her coworkers.

Aguri doesn’t particularly care for acting but was forced into it. She’d much rather live as a normal girl and thus keeps as much of her life as private as possible. She’s naturally gifted and often bases her character around others personality. Cure Ace’s harsher attitude was inspired Rikka, her more lax moments were inspired by Mana, and her beliefs were inspired by Alice.

News/Rumors: The only major controversy was the hate she got when her character appeared and it was revealed Regina would not join the team like many hoped. Lots of fans called for her removal.

Have you guys notice some times Ira grabs stuff to snack on during fights?

He dosen't even picks the carrot during the fight, he gets it right before leaving. He will be eating it later lol

I think he was used to just picking fruits and veggies he came across in the wild before the torpor

that's what let's see. 6 or 7th male cure. Depending on how you count Ban and Ouji and Cure Gorilla. Definetly 4th at least though
