I recently decided to get into Precure, and HeartCatch was recommended as a good one to start with! I absolutely love the show so far, it's cute and surprisingly very engaging! I'm on ep 17 at the moment! ( ´▽` )🌸

Also, sorry for being so inactive! I've been busy with finals coming up and I cut off the tip of my thumb, so it's been a bit difficult to work on drawing ("＞﹏＜)💦

I love it when a literal other self is used to metaphorically explore themes of self-love and self-harm by externalizing the self into another being to highlight how hating yourself is no better than hating another person and that you should grant yourself the same sympathy you would offer someone else. And then the person gains power or saves their own life by accepting their other self self-perceived flaws and all.

Bonus points for the other self being some flavor of inhuman in form.
