New pattern releasing on my Etsy shop on February 8th!!

I designed them for Maplelea dolls, but I'm really hoping they'll fit other brands too.
(And somehow, I don't have pictures of dolls in them yet, but Victoria has tried them on, and they fit spectacularly!)
ACHIEVEMENT UNLOCKED: New store!
While I love (and will keep open) my Etsy store, it is limited in a lot of ways. I decided to take the plunge and convert my blog site, RequiemArt.com, to a Shopify store. Shopify is every bit as secure as Etsy, and takes even more forms of payment, so yay.
The shopify interface also lets me keep my blog and free tutorials/resources, so now you can click back and forth between size charts and patterns without having to go back and forth between my site and Etsy. Double yay!
It’s also way more customizable, so now you can do things like sort sizes by sub category--ONLY want to see the patterns that fit Curvy Barbies? Do it with 1 click!
And finally, as an independent, I don’t qualify for most of the VAT/Consumption/Sales taxes that a big distributor like Etsy does. This might not be a big deal if you don’t currently pay tax, but if you’re in the top tax bracket (27%) it’s HUGE!

Are you looking for 18" doll clothes patterns?? Okay, maybe you're not, but if you are, I have very exciting news! I've started my own little business selling patterns!! I've got three patterns up so far, with plenty more to come.
The style is largely casual, the kind of clothes you could wear adventuring, which is very important if you're a doll. And the patterns are decently simple and easy to sew up, making them great for any skill-level!

Behind the scenes - working on a pair of shorts for Maplelea dolls
^ Title says most of it, honestly. But yes, I'm trying to make the absolute best-fitting shorts pattern I can! . . . and it's taking a lot of tries.
Here a just a handful of the versions (I ended up with 7-8 attempts, then a good version, and now I'm going to make one last modification to my pattern)
Test 1 gapped a fair bit and the crotch curves were wrong.
Test 2 (or 3, I don't think I took pictures of 2?) (on the right) just didn't look right in the butt.
Test 4 was better but front crotch was still oddly loose in spots.
Test 5, probably, (on the right) was . . . not really better?
Test 6 I made an absolute mess of. I got really lazy on the sewing and ended up sewing half of it inside out but the other half not. But it fits pretty well.
This one ended up being what I went with, but I'm still making small mods so we'll see.
Still, I've made progress and hopefully soon I'll have a wonderfully fitting pattern!
Final demo! This one is the sleeveless version of the dress that can be worn over or under a blouse, pinafore-style paired with a bell-sleeved jacket with a mandarin collar. Also a different underskirt from previous versions: more A line so the line of the dress is smoother (both underskirts will be included, too)

I just put up this new service in the shop!
Most of the questions I get these days are about printing and resizing--people who just can’t get their printers to print at 100% or 125% or whatever. So over the weekend I went to the local print shop and got some quotes to see how I could manage to do this!
Enlargements will be done on legal sized paper too, so no need to stitch together pieces from multiple pages :3 You can get printing service with your order or pick it up separately and just make a note of any patterns from past orders you’d like printed.
