Indonesian Frankie Stein Variant:
Found them at an Oregon Walmart; they had a whole case of Indonesian variant Frankie Stein. I didn’t buy any, but I thought it was fun to see them in the wild.
Their lips seem less wide and fuller, their eyebrow piercing looks better printed, their eyebrows lower and their eyes higher.
Their bag charms miiiight be a bit more bright pink, but everything else looked about the same….?
The back of the box confirming they’re from Indonesia.
A comparison between Creepover Frankie and Indonesian Variant Frankie.
For some reason the back of my robin sterling dolls box has a variant where their skin tones are darker?? Did this happen for anyone else?
I like to save the back of the doll box for the art. And I’ve noticed for every series there has been some variant in the art on the back in some small capacity. I just think that’s kinda neat.
(Also, robins hair and clothes are only slightly lighter in the other picture, for some reason it came out very pale blue in the second photo.)
I’m sure it’s due to the art and the doll being changed before it’s completed or something.
I’m sure there are some people that will absolutely find it a bit shady, but I’m assuming it’s just an error.
It’s just the art anyways the doll itself is just as pretty
I’m not complaining or nitpicking, just making an observation
Someone might already have the answers I’m sorry. I’m late picking these dolls up, they are pretty pricey to me =_=‘’
