Pygmies 💕 ………………. It’s hot as heck guys! We survived the the apocalyptic week of 109°F (42.8°C) temperatures so the projected mid to high 90’s this week feels like a godsend compared but is still breaking all kinds of records. 🥵 Check in your neighbors especially elderly and disabled. Keep your animals inside too, it’s dangerous for them as well, don’t assume they know how to watch out for themselves. Cats and dogs be dumb babies, alright? I’m desperately needing some Pygmy sized wigs, anyone know anybody currently open and accepting commissions to make 8.5cm diameter wigs? Fantasy colors, open to different fiber types. I’ve been waiting over a year now, and these poor girls have been languishing. It’s definitely effecting my inspiration for the girls still waiting, like this one. She’s my second Choco Bunyol, I’ve had her since last Fall and she’s sadly been a bit neglected due to lack of a wig. So at least she now has a new beaded, dupioni silk dress. I used to think people who couldn’t stand being home all the time and wanted to go to work just so they could spend time around other people were crazy. If it’s one thing #Quarantine2020 has taught me is that...I still think those people are crazy. 🤔😆 Staying home all day and not dealing with other humans is literally heaven. Having to spend all day talking continuously to people is bad for me, the best I’ve been able to do is trying to generally keep my exposure to the least awful sorts of people as possible. But it’s still baaaad for me. I dunno, I’m technically still working a small amount and getting out of the house and partaking in human communication no matter how finite that is, so maybe if I was in actual strict quarantine I’d start to get the mythological “Cabin Fever.” But I doubt it. 😆 I’m having a great time! 🥰 Anyways, have some embroidery time lapse. @imotoo kindly informed me that this particular type of embroidery, where you stitch down a larger thread or yarn down onto a fabric with a smaller thread, is called “couching.” 😁👍 #BJDsewing #DollClothesSewing #LegitBJD #BallJointedDoll #BJD https://www.instagram.com/p/B-lZVPSJZgN/?igshid=49wn4zu06h6u
