Dolltavia's Cancun Adventure
Dolltavia enjoyed her trip to Mexico. She loved hanging on the beach, chilling by the pool, roller skating in the sun, munching on the room service food, and viewing the moon from a new location than she usually does. Since August 17th is her "unofficial" birthday (even though the passport I made for her says otherwise), she got a lovely chocolate cake to celebrate.
Dolltavia had a marvelous time at Lexington Comic and Toy Convention this weekend. Here are her escapades over the three days we were gone. Photo descriptions go from left to right. First Row: 1. Via ready to head out with her suitcase. 2. Me in my Octavia cosplay and Dolltavia in the coffin purse I bought her there.
Second Row: 1. Via ready for bed. 2. Of course she brought along her own toiletries and make up. 3. Free hotel breakfast is always a win.
Third Row: 1. Outside of the con building. 2. Look at all of these degenerates /s.
Fourth Row: 1. Meeting the voice of her father, Bryce Pinkham. 2. He sat her down by his gift offerings while we chatted up. I made him the magic themed plush pumpkin. That's not even all of what he got as this particular photo was taken on the first day he got there.
Fifth Row: 1. Munching on take out while I wait for my photo-op with Bryce. 2. Chowing on a food truck burger and (I presume) eye ball bubble tea. This is hell after all. 3. Eating a Chili dog and milk while waiting in line for the Bluey VA Q&A Panel.
Sixth Row: 1. Finding other fellow Ever After High dolls at a doll booth. 2. They also had Monster High dolls packaged up in bags. Via didn't like the sight of that. 3. Who says toys can't have their own toys?
Seventh Row: 1. While this Jenga tower was large for real humans, it's even more massive for Dolltavia. 2. Same goes for the unicorn.
Dolltavia's MomoCon 2024 Adventure
Dolltavia has a blast at MomoCon 2024. She enjoyed all of the compliments she received from the various congoers, especially from the people behind Helluva Boss who were there. Vivzie was fascinated by her. We also learned that Lizzie Freeman (the voice of Pomni from The Amazing Digital Circus) is also a doll collector and customizer. She loved Dolltavia and the Pomni and Ragatha dolls I made and showed her. She showed me the Pomni doll she had been working on. Dolltavia also got to be showcased on Sailor Geek Cosplay's Instagram. We got a group photo together which I provided. As a bonus picture, I found some purple hydrangeas while on my walk the day before the con started. Since those were the flowers Via was posing with in the recent Shark Robot merch drop, I thought it would only make sense to pose her with them (even if they are wilting a little).
