Average hours of sleep: i do not do well with much less than 7. i can do 6 in a pinch, but it's not my best look.


Last thing I googled: gudetama, the lazy egg.  i am a very lazy egg on the inside. and the outside.

Nicknames: pantalones. this is because years ago i decided that i wanted to change my name to amanda pants, because it sounds amazing. everyone's name sound awesome with the surname "pants."

Birthday: october 30th, 1977

Sexual Orientation: needs lots of naps and pets, much like the domesticated cat

Favourite colour: red. while i wear mostly black, red makes my heart sing. i also love turquoise and robin's egg blue.


One place that makes me happy: i do have a hard time leaving my bed on a regular basis. runners up: the beach on the island i grew up on, ebey's landing, in any forest, on the couch with my peeps.


How many blankets I sleep under: at least two but up to three. one of them is a quilt i made (the first one i finished all by myself.)

Favourite movie: i love the royal tenenbaums. when i am sad and need to not be sad, i watch stepbrothers. i also really love the eternal sunshine of the spotless mind and being john malkovich.

What are you wearing right now: i have a few of these really long black skirts that are made out t-shirt material. they are my "house skirts." i am also wearing a pair of wool socks, a mushroom tshirt, and an old sweatshirt.

Last Book You Read: i just finished under different stars. i feel kind of conflicted about it. on one hand, it was quickly paced and interesting. on the other, the romance part of the story felt super formulaic and hetero and kind of gross. the last book i read that i really enjoyed was the vanishers, which i would recommend you read. 

Dream job: i go back and forth on this. i kind of want to cook for people for a living again (if i had my own food cart or tiny deli that would be awesome). if i got paid to make stuff, though, i would be happy.
