There’s a difference between pedophilia apology and age play kink. The two are not mutually exclusive.
Age play is, and has been shown to be a trauma response. And in the same realm of “age play fetishizing CSA” if you look at almost any other social media source, there is a lot of DD/LG, DM/LB, Domme, Master/slave, owner/pet, and social media material of that same matter INCLUDING age play yet those creators and consumers of that content aren’t shamed for their kinks.
Do I openly support and believe CSA isn’t an issue? Absolutely not, I think it is a real issue that needs to be more widely addressed and it’s not something to take lightly.
HOWEVER
Do I support SWs like @dollymattel and others who also create age play content, and the idea that age play is a trauma response? Yes I do. Because it is a trauma response. And trauma response isn’t always exhibited in traditionally normal ways, but that doesn’t make a trauma response any less valid or deserving of support and compassion. No one knows what someone has gone through or why they heal or respond the ways they do without asking directly.
It’s not for myself, or someone hiding behind a sunglass wearing icon to decide WHY Dolly makes the content she does. Wether it’s her chosen genre due to trauma response, or it’s just because it makes money, we don’t know.
Either way, I find it amusing as well as admirable that you’ve come to me with this yet you choose to hide behind the shield of an anon ask. And with all, I invite you to provide me any proof you have of these claims that Dolly (or any creator I choose to support for that matter) are behaving questionably or excusing serious things they should not be excusing.
