PART 2 OF SAME VOICE ACTOR, DIFFERENT CHARACTERS! (FIRE EMBLEM X BARBIE)
Can you do the gay flag specifically color picked from Ken in Dolphin Magic? He wore a shirt there that basically screamed gay colors lol. Btw love your barbie flag edits!!! 💖
Thank you! And I'm sorry it took me so long to get to this, I took a break for a while. These are the best colors I can get with that shirt, unless there's another shirt he wears that I don't remember?

Fellas,, is it gay to learn to swim like a mermaid?
(Yes, because they’re in love and that makes it gay)
Next up, @shinpoochy, who created a piece based on Barbie Dolphin Magic! 🐬

Barbie and Isla reuniting was so anti-climatic. She had such a strong bond with her in Dolphin Magic, and it was just like on hug as they met again and then no more great interactions honestly. They had great chemistry which is why so many people shipped them. Honestly Brooklyn is cool but she's making Barbie neglect all her old friends.
Picture it: Barbie and Isla on a double date with Kylie and Merliah
When I made my list of the Top 10 Gayest Barbie Movies, I noticed something about color-schemes in those movies and I did mention it briefly. Now, I took a closer look at it and wanted to bring it up again.
First of all, lesbian!Barbie. I just find it highly peculiar that if Barbie has an “ultimate form” and it’s not pure pink-on-pink, for some curious reason, they like to go orange-on-pink and even with a dash of white.
(shown: Merliah from A Mermaid Tale 2, Mariposa from Mariposa 2 and Liana from Diamond Castle)
I mean, you’re very welcome to headcanon her as bisexual because you also ship her with Ken, but like honestly I just watched 36 Barbie movies and there were like maybe three where Ken and Barbie were a couple and yeah personally I don’t need it and I love that the ultimate princess, the ultimate fairy and the ultimate mermaid forms of Barbie all feature her in lesbian colors, so I’m very much down for lesbian!Barbie.
And, well, as you can see three out of 36 is not that much and while it did speak to me as a lesbian, what stood out far more was the fact that all the female love-interests - the female characters I found were actually shipable with Barbie’s character - were all decked out in bisexual colors.
It’s fascinating that they only get a darker pink, much purple, blue and in some cases even combinations of two or all three of them - it’s almost like green, red, orange, yellow, white, black, brown and all the shades those come in don’t really exist. Sure, if Barbie is in a trio of friends, they’re usually featuring these three colors plus green. But somehow, Barbie movies are not too hot on red or yellow and rarely use orange.
Now, those characters I find shipable with Barbie are usualy her love-rival-turned-new-best-friend, her already very close best friend, the helpful new person to aid her during a quest who then ends up becoming her friend.
And I just, I find it fascinating that I can arrange all the characters I ship with Barbie in... a bisexual flag. I mean, seriously, there are more than those three colors and the fact that they always seem to gravitate back to those, particularly in combinations with each other, is very striking to me.
(pink: Xylie from Mermaid Tale, Sal-Lee from Star Light Adventure, Keira from Princess and the Popstar, Rayna from Mariposa, Catherine from A Christmas Carol, purple: Alice from A Fashion Fairytale, Hailey from The Pink Shoes, Luciana from The Island Princess, Raquelle from A Fairy Secret, Alexa from Diamond Castle, Kylie from Mermaid Tale 2, Catania from Mariposa 2, blue: Isla from Dolphin Magic, Kayla from A Mermaid Tale, Erika from Rock ‘n Royals, Erika from Princess and the Pauper, Rayla from Mariposa, Nori from Fairytopia 2: Mermaidia)
And look, I’m not saying Barbie has a gay agenda, but I’m definitely saying Barbie is a lesbian and she has a type - gorgeous, loyal bisexuals who are willing to help her save the day.
There’s... no point to this post. I just, after the post, got curious to see if I was only imagining that so I looked every single Barbie movie up again to check the color-schemes of the potential female love-interests and then I really wanted to arrange them as a bi-flag. I figured someone else may also find this delightful, so why not post it.
TL;DR: Barbie and her girlfriends said gay rights!
