Who: Ted Tonks & Domhnall Marchand When: February 20th, 1978. Mid-afternoon. Where: Dom’s make-shift office
Having finally received word from his father, Ted Tonks was in a state of panic. Henry Tonks had taken his letter seriously, assuming that the threats against Ted’s sisters were true and that they were in some sort of danger. What he had neglected to do, however, was follow Ted’s advice for managing the situation. He knew that it would be best to send his sisters away, somewhere difficult to find them should Bellatrix go looking. He had suggested sending them away on holiday with the nanny, removing them from the spotlight of muggle society at least until Ted could return home and protect them. Instead, Henry was keeping them tucked away at the house with plans to increase security. How could he convince his father that muggle security measures were not enough and that locking his sisters away would be so much worse for them?
Again, Ted questioned if he really should just return home now rather than complete the end of the year at Hogwarts but he couldn’t bring himself to leave. Not now, not when he had so little time left with Andromeda, with his friends, in this world that he loved so much. It was with this panic and confusion he found himself seeking out his Uncle’s make-shift office and knocking on the door with a bit more force than he had meant to. “Uncle Dom?” He called, not even sure if the Auror would be inside mid-afternoon but desperate to try. “It’s me, Ted.”
