"Question for you, Dom." JJ turned to his friend as the two of them stood by one of the stalls in the Farmer's Market. "Do you think Mia would be able to tell if I blended up some broccoli and added it to her pasta sauce?" He asked, picking up one of the heads of broccoli and checking it for a moment. "I got her to try some steamed broccoli the other day, and she was not a fan of eating it plain. As much as I hate the idea of having to hide the vegetables in her food, I'll do anything to get her to eat something other than peas and carrots." A sigh escaped his lips as he set the head of broccoli in his basket. If his daughter would not eat it, at least he knew that he would. "Also, you wouldn't have any toddler-friendly recipes that would get Mia to eat more vegetables, would you? I'm running out of ideas."

“Don’t tell me you’re scared of a little water.” Mariana looked to the other, before setting her sights out over the lake, the sun’s beams reflecting over the surface. She slipped out of her shoes and stood at the edge, where the water washed up onto the rocky surface. This was more unusual than she was used to, but she figured if she was going to keep a friend, she wanted them to know all about her. As she stepped closer to the edge she looked back to Dom. “Come on. The water doesn’t bite.”
