to the mun, why did you choose to play Dominique as your muse?

O-O I’m a bit scared to answer this one… but I shall.

I wanted a challenge…I wanted to play a character that wasn’t already well known.

To me Dominique was the challenge I needed to grow as an RPer… I am still learning even now how to organize my muses thoughts. Dominique to me was someone I saw, as being trapped. She had no way out of being a Gung-Ho Gun, only in death, and so to save her honor she jumped from the Rock. You only see her, in two scenes. One in the animation and one in the Manga. I wanted to breathe a new existence into her character. I play off the fact that she was overly cocky, taunted Vash constantly, and over compensated in her fight with him. Being beaten seemed to be the worst thing that could have happened to her. Obviously, she had her reasons for fighting. To prove she wasn’t weak, and to stand up for her honor, as a fighting lady. I also took the fact, that she was embarrassed during the scene when her coat was unbuttoned, that she reacts that way to being hit on. She doesn’t however when hitting on others, because she has crushes on power levels more like (still working on her relationship ideals).

She is a very difficult Lady to write. First off, me as the Mun is different then Dominique. As my muse she is volatile and sometimes cruel to others. The only thing I think we have in common is being occasionally strong-headed. She is however a very skilled fighter, not many make it into Knive’s and Legato’s personal army. Being a Gung-Ho Gun, is rather difficult for her. I assumed that she was forced into it, due to the fact that she kills herself after losing face and realizing Legato would kill her for failing. Yet it was cowardly at the same time, because she couldn’t face him after that.

I am only honored that I have made it this far with her, and that some people have actually told me I play her well. To those people goes a huge thank you. Sorry if that answered your question too well anon. Haha
