My friend has asked me to edit his personal statement for uni and like... he’s plagiarized large chunks of it. I know he’d never come up with the phrase “flair for science” or “geotechnical” and he’s literally word for word, bar for bar took it from an example. He wants to submit it tomorrow and I have no idea no idea whether to tell him he can’t, to edit it myself or just let him be that dumb for thinking the uni wouldn’t check for plagiarism.
