it's awful because i keep all my wips and art on discord :( at least I'm in GCs and small servers with people who i know for a fact would never do this to my art, but this makes me worried for posting art on any big discord servers, even art based ones

ofc the option to download and use the images was there, but this makes it easier for them to do it, and as lazy as AI prompters are, if something takes just 2 clicks to be done they WILL do it, that's like their whole thing

here are things you can do to protect your art:

Share art through links to other social media sites like twitter or tumblr, as it can't be used on links

Using Glaze, Nightshade, the ibis paint anti-AI filter, and any other alternatives

Be mindful of the servers you share your art through, and what you choose to send, especially in big servers

Stay safe out there!!

Edit: for server owners:

You can ban users from your server even if they aren’t in your server yet by using their User ID, the User ID for domo AI is this 1153984868804468756, make sure to use a server bot to do this, base discord ban won’t let you

There's been a lot of panic about that discord AI feature, but please be aware that banning the bots from the server WILL NOT WORK. it's an integrated app and as far as I know they'll just return if someone uses the app

HOWEVER

According to the Domoai blog post about this, images are only accessed of you explicitly edit them with the app, and are not used for training even if you do

Tbh this new AI stuff still makes me uneasy, but it's important to know that your content isn't being saved, and your servers aren't being scraped for training
