Not having an active hyper-fixation is what I imagine sub-drop feels like
Mikael: So you're okay with this?
Virtue: Yeah.. Breakfast is fine.. Do you want a bagel Sir?
Mikael: How can you be so calm about this?
Virtue: Well it's a bagel it's not a very dramatic thing.. I'm not going to be like. DO YOU WANT A BAGEL SIR?????
So often being in love is painful, about big declarations and final moments and sometimes Virtue wonders if she wishes her life was more dramatic but she knows she would rather not. She's lying across Mikaels lap as he watches some strange Polish film about a woman seeking a late abortion, she gave up on her focus about ten minutes into the film and she has now contented herself with playing with the end of the packet of rainbow strips Mikael has in his pocket.
" What are you doing little one?" Mikael asks looking down at her with amusement running his hand through the blonde curls that are spread out over his lap. Virtue smiles and giggles meeting his gaze with her mischievous hazel eyes. " Nothhing." She replies her nose wrinkling a little as she speaks looking away from him for a moment tracing her finger along his leg instead.
" You're trouble aren't you, little pet?" He grins running his finger over her jaw and she squirms with a giggle looking away from him and turning her head to the side a strand of hair over her face. He brushes it out of the way and presses a kiss against her forehead and Virtue knows she was right. Simple love is the best love.
