Just some clarifying notes so people know how Don Luciano might react to their characters, in the case of historical ones...
I'm playing him circa early 1948. History spoilers (that's a very silly thing...) below!
- The Havana Conference in Cuba was in 1946, when Lucky was named capo di tutti capi, or boss of bosses, beyond just the Luciano family boss and head of the Commission (rather to his chagrin, since he never liked the tradition or the title).
- it was at this meeting that a hit on Benny would be discussed, because of his failings and monetary loss in Las Vegas. He'd be given a reprieve due to Meyer and Lucky fighting for him - until June of 1947. It's likely that Meyer had to sign off specifically on Benny's death, because he vouched so strongly for him for so long. He was shot four times through a window in Los Angeles and died instantly.
- Charlie was deported from Cuba back to Naples in early 1947 (he'd been living in Cuba secretly after the US government deported him). He lives in Naples with Igea, the 20-or-30-years-his-junior love of his life, for at least 11 years there.
- it's been 20 years since AR got hit. Carolyn's still alive (though her whereabouts in the 40's aren't really known) and perhaps unmarried. I like to hope the boys are taking care of her.
- Al Capone died in 1947, half-insane from syphilis.
- Nucky stayed in power until the 40s/50s. That'll be a fun conversation with Jimmy, trololololol.
