Yates: this woman has waged war against Providence!!!
me: pretty sure it was Lucas who did that, Diana went with it for 47's sake
I’m convinced Don Yates was basically in love with Ken Morgan.
Like, basically all his conversations (that I’ve heard anyway) are about Diana being evil and killing Ken, Ken was our friend Valentina, won’t anyone think of what she did to Ken?!
And in the meantime in the basement there’s the files proving he ruined his wife’s life all for the law firm, so clearly he doesn’t care for her as much as he does for his job (which is a pretty shitty stance to take even if he’s not in love with one of his partners).
I don’t know where I’m going with this but yeah.
Acclaimed Canadian artist Grimes returns with her highly-anticipated album, Art Angels. KEXP Music Director Don Yates calls her fourth full-length, “her most brightly melodic and also her most aggressive-sounding release, featuring a cleaner, more luminous sound for her adventurous dance-pop while also incorporating a variety of live instrumentation and unusual textures on intricately crafted songs that juxtapose soaring melodies with dark lyrics.”
KEXP Seattle, Out This Week 11/6
The second album from the duo of LA singer-songwriter AM and British producer/multi-instrumentalist Shawn Lee is a sleek blend of funk, soul, disco, dub, dancehall and other styles, featuring vintage analog synths, propulsive rhythms, smooth vocals and shiny pop hooks. 4/18/2013 - Don Yates
