I don’t use tumblr often but I had to make this post. Just because Trump won and you are gay/trans/colored doesn’t fucking mean your rights will be taken away. You also won’t get killed on the streets, for fuck’s sake. The ban on gay marriage was also ruled unconstitutional by the Supreme Court, meaning it CAN’T BE TAKEN AWAY. He may have said some mean things, but that doesn’t mean you are suddenly a walking target.

Everything is going to be fine. Your candidate lost. That’s all that happened. Stop throwing bitch fits and threatening to cut off everyone in your life who supported Trump/didn’t vote for Hillary. You’re all being really shitty people.

Hello Everyone! (2016 Election Post)

I know that many people are in shock and upset about the election. There have been many posts flying around and most of them are uplifting, encouraging posts that let people know that we all need to stick together. I also want to send that message, but mine might be slightly different from the majority of the ones I have seen. If you voted for Trump... I don't hate you. If you voted for Hillary... I don't hate you. I applaud everyone who voted. Everyone who made their voice heard and was not afraid to have their opinion known. You are all important people and I hate none of you. We can't let an election tear us apart. I understand that it can be infuriating when something you don't agree with happens, but it is irresponsible to turn on people just because they did not vote the way you did. It is also irresponsible to turn on people because they are not happy that you won. We all need to support and care for each other. We need to be there when people need us. Regardless of gender, race, sexuality, and everything else. We need to be kind to each other and be prepared to protect each other no matter what may happen. Because we are all still people. No election should change that... Both candidates have negative things associated with them. Neither one is perfect and honestly, I didn't want to vote for either of them. But I did vote. I voted for who I thought was the better choice, just like many other people went and voted for who they thought was the better choice. If I run into someone who voted against the candidate I voted for, maybe we can talk and discuss our reasons. Because I am sure you had a reason to believe in your candidate, just like I had a reason to believe in mine. I won't hate you or insult you. I will respect what you believe and I hope that you will respect me as well. To Trump supporters I want to say congratulations on your victory. To Hillary supporters I want to say you all should be proud of what you accomplished. To everyone I want to say, please be kind to others. I hope you all have a wonderful day.

When Trump says the election is rigged, he is not wrong. There may not be illegal voters, but the media is coerced by the Clintons. The media is the number one source that influences voters. Even the debates were biased. Please, do your own research, and agree on the policies, not the party or the person. Vote for your own opinions to be correctly represented in the government, not because you don't want the other person to win.
