what would be the reasons/tipping point for your ocs to go into overblot?
Thank you for the ask anon! Answers will be under the cut.
Azul has already overblotted before. Her overblot was caused by all the negative rumors surrounding her being spread so easily. She did her best to ignore them and continue on like nothing was wrong, but after bottling up her emotions for so long she just popped. It happened during her second year when she was confronted by @/r0setart's OC Dietrich that you can read about here if you feel so inclined.
Nanami is another one that has already overblotted, but she hasn't done so on campus. Due to the nature of her unique magic, her threshold for overblotting is much lower than most people. It happens after overuse of her unique magic and the two times it has happened it was because she felt someone had wronged her or her family. The reason she attends NRC on special exception is because of how prone she is to overblotting, so she tries to use magic sparingly, even if she knows there are people at NRC that can handle it.
Maury has not overblotted before, but very easily could if he's not careful. He's prone to jealousy and can be very vindictive with people who aren't already on his good side. What would probably push him over the edge would be someone receiving something he thinks he is entitled to or deserves. Once that happens it's a downhill spiral of either trying to sabotage the person or take what he thinks they stole from him by any means necessary.
Donar and Torben are not very likely to overblot. It takes quite a bit to get them upset in the first place and they're usually either very patient or very dismissive of other people. The one thing they fear the most is their brothers getting hurt, so if someone were to actively harm one or both of their brothers in front of them to fatal degree, they'd most likely overblot.
Perun, however, has not overblotted and the chances of it happening with him are almost zero. He's rather carefree and forgiving so he's unlikely to hold grudges against anyone. While he cares about Donar and Torben as much as they care about him, he's much more level-headed in a crisis than they are. He'd rather ensure his brothers' safety first before even thinking about plans for revenge, and even after that's confirmed, he'd be more likely to take the slow and steady approach to getting even.
