Since I have to focus mostly on moving out these days and after that for a long period on my studies to enroll a university, I am going to have a huge amount of expenses to keep up with in order to make it through and manage my life’s responsibilities. I am already searching for a job even though my time will be very limited, because I am going to have to dedicate a plethora of hours on studying since my goal is to get accepted for the Biology/Science courses and one has to have scored really high to get there. It will be a tough year for me, and it won’t be easy to make it, but I am not giving up just yet. So unfortunately with all those expenses I have to cover, I believe very little to no money will be left for me to spend on other things that I would like to do.
Right now one of my best friends lives in Australia, she moved there a year or so ago, and I haven’t been able to see her ever since because the tickets are so expensive and I don’t even live close to the airport so I have to travel to even get there. I really do miss her because we know each other for so many years, I think back a lot, and she’s been there for me every time I needed her, despite of whether she was still in Greece or in Australia. Sometimes I just wish she could be here to give me a hug or something or that I could be there and we could watch a movie, make jokes, play video games, all those things good friends do. It’s been pretty lonely ever since she left, but she had no choice, she had to go. We just wish we could see each other again. I don’t want to lose this friendship, it’s way too important for me and even now, with the internet in our lives the time zone gap is a big problem for us, it gets in the way of our communication. It’s just difficult and rare to find a decent person in our time, who is honest and true to you and I am glad I got to meet her and formed this relationship with her, I don’t want to find something new to replace this friendship, I just want to see my friend again.
The second reason why I have decided to add this donation button is that I really love cosplay, and unfortunately, I haven’t been able to focus there as much as I’d like to. Whenever I can, I test some characters or complete a costume or two, to actually wear it out there, but it’s been difficult for me the past few years to spend money on it. So I didn’t have much more than my cosplay tests to show you, even though in the past I was able to finish some full costumes. I feel really inspired and motivated to work on them again, and share my progress with everyone here, but you know that a lot of them require a large amount of funds to invest in this hobby. I am not always intrigued by simple characters, so I want to work on more complicated costumes and designs, I love crafting and it’s a challenge for me. If you like my cosplays tests even a little, and feel like you want to see more complete costumes of some of them or some others, it would mean so much to me if you could help me gather some money for that. It’s not like I won’t be able to cosplay at all, but it will certainly be much more difficult for me to keep my life balanced, fulfill my responsibilities, study, and save money for my costumes/armors too in this period.
These are the two main reasons why I have added this button on my page. Any help is really appreciated, I am not forcing anyone to contribute, but you would make my life so much easier and it would be a huge help if some of you were to donate. Anything is welcome and honestly, in order to thank you I could cosplay some of your favorite characters sometimes or make giveaways with some of the props I am going to make, draw for you, and so on. If I manage to visit my friend, who is also a fan of cosplay, we’ll make sure to give it double to you haha.
