“It made me think of you.”
When presented with the small box, the blonde looked slightly perplexed. “Clyde, you know my birthday isn’t until August... what’s this for?” Blue hues remained on the male for a moment longer, slowly drifting to the box when it became clear he wasn’t going to answer. Once she lifted the lid, a warm smile broke across her face. It was a rose gold crescent moon necklace, something she had actually had her eye on for the past few weeks. But she hadn't told anyone, how did he know?
“Clyde, I love it.” She lifted her gaze to him, still beaming. With how many times she made him go stargazing, it was no surprise that he remembered how much she loved the night sky. Without missing a beat, the blonde wrapped her arms around him, pulling him in for a tight hug. She pressed a soft kiss to his cheek before reluctantly pulling away. “Thank you. But I know this wasn’t exactly cheap... you’ve got to let me treat you to dinner or something.”
