tutorial | how to make a similar gif style

Requested, I will be showing you how to make something like this:

You'll need to know how to make a basic gif (no colouring) and we can continue on from there!

With your basic gif, add a .psd that simply brightens up the gif - so it doesn't change the colour of anything other than brightening it up, i.e. from black to blue, etc.

If you want the flash between the gifs, follow this quick tutorial I used.

Then add this .psd by LightTheFuze, which adds a faded effect.

Once you've done all that add a solid colour layer and set the layer to Darken. Choose a solid colour, so not too dark but not too bright other. But it's all about experimentation, so do as you please!

And that's pretty much it! If you want to add similar text, double click the text layer and Layer Properties > Drop Shadow > Distance = 1, Spread = 0, Size = 0. If you have a flash between these gifs, remember to unsee the layer at the right time!

Now you can play around with colours and textures, etc.
