wow I never do personal rants in the tags but I am so mad about a certain technology after a meeting about it and I don’t understand how anyone is giving it any credit at all

Whaaaaaat?? Someone drew a white character, who is tan, a bit darker than an average pale white person and their getting hate cuz they're not as sensitive to color?? Color is important, but not to the point of hating on another living, breathing, feeling, and being. It's art. People in general come in different shades. Get. Over. It. People can tan dark. Melatonin. Its literally the "hormone of darkness". Said by a doctor. Being offended by a person who tans and goes outside is stupid.

If you wanna see how the sun affects your skin, go outside and froggin watch. You might tan, turn red, or stay as pale as you were before. Why? Because everyone has different skin types. Acting like a person drawing a white character tan is offensive to black people is insanity. I have many friends who are black and in the PJO fandom, and they honestly could care less if Annabeth is white, black, or hispanic. It's just a ethnicity. It doesn't change her character. I'm sorry that tan people are tan 🙄. The people that are tanning are not copying or stealing from any culture unless its painfully obvious that they are trying to look, sound, or act like one. (Like blackface.) It's their skin. They're being their natural human selves. You can't always help what happens to your skin.

If this offended you, sorry but i really don't care. I'm tired of seeing artists, who do fanart and work their butts off get hated on because they envision characters differently.

Okay, so, IronStrange Big Bang 2021... I’ve signed up for writer and I’ve been invited to the server, and I’ve met a bunch of like-minded people. This will be my first ever bang, and I’m really excited about it!

There is one little problem though.. I can’t seem to find any idea that makes me get that feeling. I’ve been looking through my drafts and ideas, and sure, some of them are good - some of them are even great - but I can’t seem to get that absolute “feelgood” feeling. The feeling that makes you go “hell yeah, I wanna do this”.

And I think that’s the feeling I wanna have when working on my piece for the big bang.

I remember starting to work on my piece for the IronStrange Fanfic Challenge that @/stark-strange-love2 hosted. I absolutely and definitely had that perfect feeling, and I want to find it again. I want to find my genre and niche.

I don’t know if I would do better with something obscure, something angsty or something smutty. I really just want to have fun during this bang, and since it’s gonna be running for such a long time, I need to find something that really catches my attention and interest.

This is where it gets difficult. Since I haven’t been in the IronStrange fandom for very long, I don’t particularly know what I like and don’t like. Sure, I could provide myself with a general “what if”, but really..

Four months, more or less. 12k words or more in three or four months. I need to keep my focus. I don’t want to lose interest. I’m planning to finish this, and I want to enjoy it all the way through. I want myself to enjoy writing this piece for this bang. Because of my anxious little brain going on full speed 24/7, I also want other people to be able to enjoy it. But I guess I’ll have to drop that concern for now and just focus on my ginormous ego for once 😌

Okay, anyway, I’ll get to thinking and see what I come up with. End of this little rant for now, but I might be back at a later time to rant again sjsbaisns--

okay i have to say something:

its getting tiring and annoying to see fans insulting some woman they dont know just because theres stuff POSSIBLY linking her to Zabdiel (and even then were not certain in what way)

its not fair that zabdiel is being judged for whos hes dating i mean lets be fair im sure weve all been judged for who weve dated or even had interest in but seriously we dont know this woman and dont know his relationship and most importantly his life

we have no right as strangers to judge him like this let alone whoever is in his life romantically or otherwise

I’m sick of all these iconic and supposedly ‘invincible’ villians dying so easily at the end. there’s a fucking thing called ‘creativity.’ be a bit creative while determining fates. use your goddamn mind. create some loophole you crackheads. let this stupid cliche die.

Apparently, I'm getting "popular".

Yep. People are a little mad at me for saying my anti-bryke stuff. Honestly, I just don't care. And to tell you the honest truth, I'm very tired of ranting about Bryke now. I really am. I said that before, but I kept on ranting about them because I heard about the supposed Sokka/Suki pairing breaking up. I just couldn't let that slide. But now, NOW, I'm done. I don't want any people to jump on me because of what I say. Besides, I'm a storyteller myself, I don't have time to rant about these two anyway. I perhaps may have gone a little too far with some stuff I said, so, sorry about that to anyone who reads them. I was just in the moment of aggravation.

Still, I'm not going to change my opinion. I don't care what you call it or think, I still think there's something shady going on behind the scenes of Avatar: The Last Airbender. You don't have to agree with me; in fact, you could've just gone on your merry way and just do whatever you do. I am sorry if I offended anyone, though. But you don't have to offend me by saying that I'm not a real fan. I ranted because I care about the show. But as of this moment, I'm done ranting. It's just not worth my time really if I'm gonna get this kind of attention. I still think ATLA is a great show for what it is, and for what COULD'VE been.

So with that said, onward to better things, like writing! :)
