Westboro Baptist Church as expressed in a press release that they plan on protesting our fallen hero Sgt. Thomas J. Butler. The goal of this group is to provide a human wall to protect the family from seeing this group so that they can mourn in peace.
The character, "The Little Red-Haired Girl” was inspired by Donna Johnson, an accountant with whom Schulz fell in love with.
Johnson and Schulz dated for 3 years, but in 1950 when Schulz proposed to her, she turned him down, saying she was already engaged to fireman Allan Wold and married Allan on October 21, 1950. Schulz was devastated, but he and Johnson-Wold remained friends for the rest of his life.
