Sui generis Melburnian filmmakers Donna McRae (Johnny Ghost) and Michael Vale (two-time Archibald finalist) are currently seeking funding for this wonderfully strange, melting-pot feature film. They summarise it far better than I ever could here.

In this trailer, I can be glimpsed once or twice as an infirm member of the French Foreign Legion—then, later, as the pipe toting Le Chien qui Fume himself, clad in a suit and oversize papier-mâché dog’s head, throwing shadows, Murnau style, up and down Niagara Lane.
