#DonnaVanessa's latest posted fairy tale: We would like to start by thanking the countless people who have offered us support during this time. Fellow animal lovers, fellow past & current members of the enlisted & officer corps of the military, fellow past & current federal employees, fellow attorneys, & neighbors. To those who find it as disgusting as we do that individuals would make up such a story which does nothing but detract from the important cause of animal welfare, we are w/you. To those who only received a one-sided & fabricated story, believed it, & became emotional, we understand. Thank you for understanding that 2 wrongs do not make a right, & thus we cannot, & will not, engage at their level. We will not share the addresses of the individuals responsible; we will not encourage breaches of peace & crimes to be committed against them. We will take the higher ground: In a civilized society there is no room 4 the fabrication of stories, extortion, harassment, stalking, & engaging in mob tactics. This is not to say that we will not defend ourselves by any lawful means available to us. Accordingly, we have begun the legal battle. We have requested that the court restrain the harassment that is occurring. Restraining orders are very difficult to obtain, have one of the highest standards of proof, & are rarely awarded. Irrespective of the outcome of the hearing, we will use every ethical & legal tool available to us to seek justice, & this is only the beginning. We will bring suits against the individuals harassing us, those who fabricate fake stories, & those who aid them in doing the same. The pursuit of justice will be long, it will be costly, & it will be worth it. Everything that we recover from the offending parties will be donated to legitimate animal welfare organizations, w/o exception. To those who do not already know what the truth is, @malteseandmorerescue approved our application, & Jer literally handed Bear to Zubin’s mom on May 13th to give to us as soon as we were to arrive in San Diego. @donnaorozco88 Anybody can make phony PM's, SMS, posts, etc. A Forensic IT investigator will want to match MAC addresses, IP addresses & other info. You cant just present screen caps of convos as evidence & expect that to fly. Your boy toy may fly as a jack of all trades ambulance chaser, but I do big Federal Criminal & Appellate cases. I know the standards of the Rules of Evidence. All this because the two of you were too cheap to pay an adoption fee.
