Album Number Eighty Seven “Tropico” is Pat Benatar's fifth studio album, and sixth album overall, released in late 1984 by Chrysalis Records. (I didn’t buy the live album preceding this one) This is the first album to feature one-time #johnwaite bassist #donnienossov who replaced #rogercapps in #patbenatar ‘s band. My copy is a mid-eighties reissue on #chrysalisrecords - FV 41471 It peaked at No. 14 on the U.S. Billboard 200 album chart and produced the Grammy-nominated Top Five Pop hit "We Belong". During the filming of the video for the single "Painted Desert", Benatar and husband #neilgiraldo discovered they were expecting their first child.
